A quick 1 hour detect on the beach

Had a quick trip to the beach this evening.

My usual tent pegs turned up lol  an old bolt a candlelight a large fishing weight and a mystery coin.

Don’t know what the coin is but it had been down a long time , was found about 20 cm deep.

Edit. Identified the coin , it is a 1/2 Franc French coin , its too badly corroded to see the date , but the euro came in around the the year 2000 so this has been down in the sand for at least 14 years.

Mission to the beach 24th April 2014

Took a trip to the beach last week it didn’t offer up any decent finds , just rubbish.

I added to my tent peg collection and the oddest find of the day was someone’s contact lens.

We get these days sometimes where all you find is trash but at least we are helping keep the beach clean :)
